Embers Añejo Tequila Barrel Aged Wheat Wine

We mashed one tonne of oak smoked wheat into this wheat wine. Basically a grodzizkie dialled up to 11, but we didn’t stop there. Aging an additional 6 months in freshly emptied añejo tequila barrels, bringing forth sweetness and notes of citrus, vanilla, raisin and earth. We are stoked to share embers with you!

Malts: Oak smoked wheat malt, marris otter, diastatic malt, honey malt.

ABV 10.5%

All Rye River Brewing Co recipes are unique using unique water profiles to match the style of beer, managed through our on site reverse osmosis water purification system.

We use hand turned malts in our recipes and direct from farm hops ensuring the freshest crops are always used.

We propagate our own in house yeast strains.

We do not filter or pasteurise our beers, instead we centrifuge ensuring we maintain all the flavour and quality
