Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Hands down one of the most exciting distilleries on the Island of Ireland The Shed Distillery continues to deliver extraordinary expressions of Single Malt and Single Pot Still whiskies.

Using malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish barley, and Irish Barra oats, this elegant Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey follows on from the inaugural release with a more bourbon cask focus and will be a staple expression for The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney into the future.

Aged primarily in Kentucky Bourbon & with some Sherry Oloroso casks, Head Distiller, Brian Taft has highlighted the characteristics of this flagship expression as being uniquely creamy and fruity, yet spicy and dry.

The inclusion of Barra oats lends a depth and elegant creamy texture, with a subtle spice. Vanilla, wood, sugar and coconut characters coming through from the American oak, with hints of bourbon spirit.
